Dempa Publications got its start in the 1950s, and grew along with the
electronics industry. Dempa Shimbun Daily is the flagship periodical, a
daily (Monday to Saturday) full-sized B-to-B newspaper in Japanese, exclusively
covering the electronics industry. The paper appears each morning on the
desks and doorsteps of nationwide readers in Japan. Net delivery is also
available for readers who want to keep track online. Dempa Shimbun is the
only daily newspaper covering the electronics industry, and has been attaining
nationwide, door-to-door distribution in Japan.

Dempa's headquarters is in Tokyo, and the company has offices across Japan.
Additionally, there are offices throughout Asia, including Seoul, Hong
Kong,Taipei, Manila. Altogether, the company has about 250 employees worldwide.
Besides the Dempa Shimbun, the company also produces a long list of other
magazines, reference works, and supplements, in Japanese, English and Chinese.
There are monthly magazines covering retail electronics, and personal computers,
as well as those describing trends in consumer electronics, and the growth
of Asian electronics. Electronic media includes Dempa Product News. Monthly
magazines in English include Journal of Electronics Industry (JEI), and
Asia Electronics Industry (AEI), while the Broadcasting Equipment and Technology
(BET) comes out three times a year.
